“Paint for eternity…and to never lose sight of the presence of God.” – Jean-Francois Millet
What would you paint if you were told you were going blind in a few years? That was what began Nina Baker’s love to paint in an effort to remember how things look. Thankfully, that resident physician that told her that at age 14 was incorrect. Thankfully, it stirred Nina’s heart enough to desire to glorify the Lord in painting.
Growing up in Arkansas, enjoying the beauty of Creation and creatures has given Nina endless things to paint and record with her style of painting; painting in watercolor and oil helps her express those images that have ignited that desire to recall them.
The rest of the story is still being written as Nina and her husband, David, work together and explore the things God created from our sheep to lands unknown.
